Principal’s Message

Irma Ramirez

Dear Sam Fordyce Families, Staff, and Community,

It is with great pride and excitement that I welcome you to Sam Fordyce Elementary. I am truly honored to serve as your principal and to be part of a school community that is deeply committed to student success and educational excellence.

With over two decades of experience in education, my passion has always been rooted in supporting all learners and helping every child reach their full potential. My journey has allowed me to serve in a variety of roles—from classroom teacher to instructional leader—and each experience has strengthened my commitment to creating meaningful learning opportunities for students.

At Sam Fordyce Elementary, we will continue to foster a positive, inclusive, and academically enriching environment where every student feels valued and supported. I strongly believe in the power of early literacy, strong instructional practices, and collaboration among educators to ensure student growth. Our goal is to meet the diverse needs of all learners while maintaining high expectations and a culture of excellence.

Family and community partnerships are essential to student success. I look forward to working closely with our families, staff, and community members to build strong relationships and continue the proud tradition of Sam Fordyce Elementary.

Together, we will ensure that every student is empowered to succeed.

With appreciation,
Irma Ramirez
Principal
