Sam Fordyce Elementary students and staff show their love for Dr. Seuss by participating in activities throughout the week. The cafeteria helped kick off the Dr. Seuss activities by serving Green Eggs and Ham for breakfast where students’ reactions were priceless. Activities followed the whole week going with themes related to a Dr. Seuss book including The Sleep Book, The Cat in the Hat, Wacky Wednesday, The Lorax and Dr. Seuss biographies. Students and staff members dressed up as they joined in the activities. To culminate Dr. Seuss Week, students in grades Pre-K through 2nd as well as the Sam Fordyce Elementary choir danced and sang for our students and parents in a special presentation. Students look forward to participating in the Dr. Seuss’ week activities every year!
