Students at Sam Fordyce Elementary celebrated Dr. Seuss with a week full of activities.  To kick of the week, students dressed in green attire and enjoyed a Green Eggs and Ham breakfast in our school cafeteria.  Students enjoyed dressing up every day in their favorite Dr. Seuss shirt or as a character from their favorite Dr. Seuss book.  Students dressed in pajamas in honor of the book I Don’t Want to Get Up Today and wore hats in honor of the book The Cat in the Hat.  Students also dressed in wacky clothes, shoes, hairdos, etc. in honor of the book Wacky Wednesday and dressed in orange to show how they care in honor of the book The Lorax.  On Friday students dressed as their favorite Dr. Seuss character and enjoyed a performance by Pre-K, Kinder, 1st and 2nd grade students, as well as the Sam Fordyce Student Choir led by Mr. Sam Treviño.
