Sam Fordyce Elementary students received a special treat from the Barn Hill Preserve’s Animal Adventure Squad. This organization provides students the unique experience of getting close to animals that they most likely have never seen before. During the presentation, students learned about the animals’ life cycle, habitat, conservation, diet, etc. Students got to admire these exotic animals and ask questions which were answered by their knowledgeable staff. The program is offered free of charge to schools. The way this organization gets funds is by providing the students an opportunity to take pictures with their live animal ambassadors. Students were in awe of all the animals and asking all types of questions.
